Prefixes

I was learning about prefixes. A prefix is a part of a word at the front.It adds meaning to the root word. Now I would like to know why there are some words that have a prefix starting but not a prefix ending.

Freeze frame (polar bears)

A polar bear weighs the same amount as 129 cats.

Telling the time to every five minutes

I was learning to tell the time. I know that if the long hand is on the six it is half past. wherever the long hand goes we need to count or multiply in fives. It is tricky to do the answer without the fives on the outer side of the clock.

Limerick

I was learning to write a limerick. In a limerick I need to have 5 lines. Lines 1,2 and 5 need to rhyme, as well as lines 3 and 4. It  was easy to make the words in the limerick rhyme. It was tricky to make sure that the sentences made sense.
